Quarry Hunslets of North Wales: The Great (Little) Survivors is a reprint of a book that was first published in 2001 and subsequently updated in 2004. Compiled by Cliff Thomas it is an history of the narrow gauge Hunslet locomotives, from the slate quarries of North Wales, that have survived into preservation. Many examples of these are now operated on Welsh steam railways such as the Ffestiniog, Bala Lake and Llanberis Lake railways, elsewhere in the UK, or further afield such as the USA.

The book is divided into chapters covering the loco types, and each chapter contains a detailed history of each surviving example. Following this are short descriptions of the various places and railways where Hunslet locos can be found in operation. Also included is a locomotive index of Hunslet quarry locos.

Approximately 175 black & white and 4 colour photos. 256 pages.
