Tram Atlas North Africa & Middle East is a full colour atlas of the tramway, metro and light rail networks found in the North African and Middle Eastern countries of Morocco, Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
For every city with a tramway or metro, a detailed route map is provided and a description of how each system is operated. Most of the maps are very detailed, showing all stops, loops, single-track sections, depots and workshops etc, and some of the maps have enlargements of city centre areas. In addition to the map, a table of key information, such as city population, route length, track gauge and contact information for operators is also included, along with brief historical information and details of any notable features that may apply to each system. The maps and text are accompanied by photos illustrating the trams and metro cars employed.
