In *Southern EMU Pictorial * Hector Maxwell has put together a selection of black & white photographs by Geoffrey Kitchenside, from the Transport Treasury archive, which depict the various types of electric unit that ran on the Southern Region in the 1950s and 1960s.
There is a good mix of photographs featuring entire units or individual vehicles. Unit types illustrated include 4-Subs, 2-Bils, 2-Hals, 4-Cors, and the legendary Brighton Belle sets. Some EPBs and 4-Ceps are also featured. The majority of the photographs are presented in one-per-page format and are accompanied by detailed captions.
