Modern Traction Loco Data Volume 2: Class 24-27 Type 2s is the second of a series of books giving the allocation history of all locomotives of a particular class or group of classes, in this case the Class 24-27 Type 2s.
The locomotivess are listed in order of original number. For each loco the book gives the date of each depot allocation and withdrawal, plus other significant changes such as naming and renumbering. Dates of scrapping or preservation details are also given.
At the back there is a list of loco names, TOPS numbers with their original D-prefixed numbers, and locos allocated to each depot in 1965, 1975, 1985 and 1995.
